INQUIRY 2 - Clinton Foundatation dirty dealings, 5 Felons the Clintons dealt with

Gilbert and Roland Chagoury with former US President Bill Clinton - August 11, 2016

The Chagoury Brothers enmeshed in Hillary Clinton controversial emails scandal
Published August 11, 2016

In one of the emails (a 2009 email), Doug Band, top Clinton Foundation official, was said to have lobbied Hillary Clinton’s former aides, Cheryl Mills and Huma Abedin, for a job for an ‘associate’ in the State Department, while sourcing for a help to arrange meeting between Chagoury and the former US ambassador to Lebanon.

Gilbert Chagoury and his brother, Ronald have remained a recurring decimal in many controversial scenarios in and out of Nigeria. The brothers were associated with former Nigerian dictator, Gen. Sani Abacha, who died in 1998, and did business with Glencore and Rich, according to news reports.

In 2009, the Chagoury Group pledged $1billion in coastal erosion projects to the Clinton Global Initiative, an offshoot of the foundation, according to the initiative’s website.

The Chagoury Group is the major force behind the massive Eko Atlantic, an African Dubai peninsula city on Victoria Island, Lagos that is been reclaimed from the Atlantic Ocean. The company’s website cites the Clinton Global Initiative’s praise for it as an “environmentally conscious city” under construction.

Gilbert Chagoury’s ties to the Clintons stretch back years. He has given to Bill and Hillary Clinton’s campaigns and has donated between $1 million to $5 million to Clinton Foundation, foundation records show. In 2003 he organized a trip to the Caribbean where Bill Clinton was paid $100,000 for a speech.

Ronald Chagoury and their conglomerate were also mentioned in the Panama Papers.

The multinational conglomerate has its hands in a wide range of industries including construction, hospitality and milling, mostly in Nigeria. According to the Panama Papers, Ronald Chagoury is the main shareholder of Echo Art Ltd., a Mossack Fonseca managed company registered in the British Virgin Islands.

The revelation come from a McClatchy newspapers article called Inside Panama Papers: Multiple Clinton connections. The article connects the dots between associates of Bill and Hillary Clinton and the leaks, which contain correspondence between the Panamanian law firm Mossack Fonseca and its clients. The firm sets up offshore companies typically as a method to hide revenue from tax authorities.

Unfortunately, because of the way the Panama Papers are being revealed to the world—through a handful of major newspapers—most of the revelations so far seem to be filtered through an American or European lens. This means information about Chagoury and other business leaders who are taking illicit money off the continent are only coming out in the context of how it impacts the American presidential race. Where does that leave the rest of the world?

Secret emails reveal how Hillary's closest aide Huma was ordered by Clinton Foundation to open State Department doors to donors

Published August 10, 2016

Doug Band, a top official at the Clinton Foundation, emailed Hillary Clinton aides Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills in April 2009 and asking for Gilbert Chagoury, a billionaire Lebanese businessman who pledged $1 billion to the Clinton Global Initiative, to be connected with the U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Jeffrey Feltman.

Chagoury, a former confidante of brutal Nigerian dictator Sani Abacha, was convicted in 2000 of laundering Nigerian money to Switzerland in connection with the Abacha regime. Under a plea deal, he agreed to pay Nigeria $66 million, and the Swiss government later expunged his conviction.

Chagoury pledged $1 billion to the Clinton Global Initiative in 2009 and has contributed between $1 million and $5 million to the Clinton Foundation.

Judicial Watch said in a press release that the State Department favors 'seem in violation of the ethics agreements that Hillary Clinton agreed to in order to be appointed and confirmed as Secretary of State.'

'No wonder Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedin hid emails from the American people, the courts and Congress,' said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton in a statement. 'They show the Clinton Foundation, Clinton donors, and operatives worked with Hillary Clinton in potential violation of the law.'

Five Devastating Facts About Hillary Clinton’s Foreign Funder, Gilbert Chagoury

August 11, 2016

The release of nearly 300 pages of emails belonging to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, which shine a spotlight on the crony connections Clinton facilitated between the State Department and her family foundation, highlights a particularly damning Clinton Foundation donor named Gilbert Chagoury.

Chagoury is a wealthy Lebanese construction magnate and longtime friend of former President Bill Clinton. His worldwide exploits were heavily documented in The New York Times bestselling book Clinton Cash, authored by Breitbart News Senior Editor-at-Large Peter Schweizer.

In Chagoury, one finds a clear-cut example of how foreign influencers bought access to the Clintons by funneling donations to the Clinton Foundation while Hillary Clinton was in command of the State Department.

Here are five of the most devastating facts about one of the Clintons’ closest cronies:

1. Gilbert Chagoury donated nearly a half-million dollars to Democratic party voter efforts before attending the Clintons’ White House Christmas party.

2. Chagoury was convicted of laundering millions.

3. Chagoury’s name was once on a federal no-fly list.

4. Chagoury was named a “kingpin” of Nigerian corruption.

5. Chagoury admitted in British court to bribery.

Clinton Foundation donor denied entry to US on terrorism claims

August 28, 2016

A Lebanese-Nigerian billionaire who donated millions to Clinton-family nonprofits was denied a visa to enter the United States last year on terrorism-related grounds, according to a new report.

Gilbert Chagoury, who donated millions to the Clinton Foundation and in 2009 pledged $1 billion to the Clinton Global Initiative, was denied entry last summer amid a review of his ties in Lebanon to Hezbollah, the Los Angeles Times reported Sunday.

The Trump campaign quickly renewed its call for a shutdown of the Clinton Foundation.

“The fact a major Clinton Foundation donor was denied entry into the US over ties to the terrorist group Hezbollah is deeply troubling, especially when this individual had access to top aides at Hillary Clinton’s State Department,” Trump spokesman Jason Miller said Sunday, calling for the release of Clinton’s schedules and the shutdown of the charity.

At least 5 felons among Clinton Foundation donors

August 31, 2016

NEW YORK – A list that has been largely ignored by establishment media is the remarkable number of foreign millionaire and billionaire donors to the Clinton Foundation who have been convicted of crimes.

At least five individuals are on the list, including several the Clintons treated as international celebrities at various Clinton Global Initiative annual meetings, even after their criminal convictions.

Some have been convicted of crimes in the United States and are currently serving sentences in federal prisons.

Now more than ever, Bill and Hill are “Partners in Crime.” Jerome Corsi reveals “The Clintons’ scheme to monetize the White House for personal profit.”

The Clinton Foundation has been under scrutiny during the presidential campaign for allegations that the Clintons have personal profited from the charity and that many prominent donors, particularly foreigners, have given millions of dollars with the expectation it would provide access to the secretary of state.
